Misery thy name is German.

I had to give up my elective in German today, and its affected me more than I thought it would. It made me realise that although I'm rubbish at German and really struggle with it, it's the subject that makes me happiest. My degree may be in English and Media, but it's German that just feels... like me. I had to drop it because having to do the bi-weekly homeworks was detracting too much from my other studies and they were suffering because of it - my English lecturer embarrassed me infront of the group today by having a go at me like I was some child because I hadn't finished the reading *sigh*
As its the English and Media I am paying more than £3000 a year to study, it would be stupid for me to ruin my degree by focusing too much of my time on an extra module that doesn't even form part of my degree.
Anyway, as such, I've decided that as soon as I graduate and am lucky enough to find a job, I'm gonna save up a portion of my wages a week to put me through night classes in German. My dream is still to travel to every corner of Germany and experience the culture, and if I like it, I want to live there. Settle down with a nice German boy *cough*Tom Kaulitz*cough* =P

Bis wir uns wieder treffen, deutsche Sprache xx
